On November 8th, Thrivent Financial volunteers, led by one of our most dedicated Crew Leaders, Chuck Brinkman, descended upon the home of Mrs. Kathleen Patton in Thousand Oaks to complete a Thrivent Build Repair … providing exterior clean up and a new paint job.
Mrs. Patton, who was overwhelmed by the gesture, was thankful and grateful for everybody’s effort. She mentioned that a few years ago she made a large furniture donation to the Habitat ReStore, and that she previously volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Oregon on several occasions. Accustomed to assisting others, Mrs. Patton said, “it’s wonderful to be on the receiving side.“
