Meet Joan
At 78, Joan has always been a source of inspiration, dedicating her life to her family and community.
But her aging mobile home, with 16 broken windows and a crumbling exterior posed serious health and financial challenges.
“The volunteers went above and beyond, even taking care of my animals. My home feels full of love and positive energy
now," expressed Joan.
Thanks to the generosity of donations, volunteers, and Habitat Ventura’s Home Repair Program, Joan’s home has been transformed.
With the help of compassionate volunteers, including local students, her home received new windows, a fresh coat of paint, and much-needed care for her cherished pets, Oreo and Johnny.

You can help more families build strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable shelter by making a donation today.
