Best-ever Women Build!
On Saturday, May 9th, Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County and Lowe’s volunteers were among more than 90 volunteers to join Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County to help build affordable housing in Santa Paula in recognition of National Women Build Week.
Check out all of the day’s work and fun on our Facebook and Bob Carey’s website:
The 8th annual National Women Build Week May 2-10 challenged women to devote at least one day to help build affordable housing in their local communities. This year, more than 15,000 women, including Lowe’s Heroes employee volunteers from across the country, were expected to volunteer at Habitat for Humanity construction sites during National Women Build Week. In Ventura County we worked on four homes at our Trinity Lane site in Santa Paula.
