Please welcome Habitat’s Family Selection Chair
Julie’s responsibilities will include supervising the work of the committee, delegating responsibilities to accomplish its goals and reporting to Habitat’s board of directors. The Family Selection Team is often the prospective homeowner’s first contact with Habitat, and the process can open the door to a positive, trusting relationship and restored hope for families in need of decent housing.Julie first became associated with Habitat as a construction volunteer. She then transitioned to the Family Selection team in 2010. Julie earned her Master of Architecture degree from UCLA University of California Los Angeles Graduate School of Architecture and Urban Design, (Special Area of Concentration: Urban Design & Public Housing).
