Residents from the city of Moorpark and unincorporated county areas are invited to drop off their extra trash and bulky items free of charge at the Simi Valley Landfill and Recycling Center on Sunday, April 13 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Habitat for Humanity will be on site collecting new and gently used items ranging from appliances to furniture, home improvement items, and building materials. All donated items will be sold at the Habitat Restore located in Simi Valley to assist with ongoing Habitat building and repair programs.
