WE’RE LOOKING FOR LADIES!
Habitat of Ventura County is fortunate to have our wonderful Wednesday Crew of 25-30 regular volunteers (mostly retired gents, and a couple of great gals, Melissa and Val) who have been coming out for years!
We really want to encourage the ladies to be a part of the Thursday Team, but anyone who is available and interested in making a contribution and learning/honing their construction skills is welcome!
Most weeks Habitat of Ventura County builds Wednesday through Saturday at our Trinity Lane development. We really need more volunteers on THURSDAYS. Consider making a commitment to come out regularly on Thursdays (once a month, 2 times/month, whatever works for you) through the rest of 2015, or until all 8 homes are completed at the end of 2016.
Register as a Habitat volunteer here, then go to the calendar and sign up for a Thursday construction shift (first column – Trinity Lane). If you plan to come out regularly, let Tricia (volunteer coordinator) know and we’ll add you to our weekly crew email.
