This year, Habitat for Humanity of Ventura County celebrates 40 years of service, partnership, and community-driven impact. For four decades we have helped build more than 85 homes, supported over 150 first-time homeowners to build generational wealth, completed over 400 critical home repairs, and partnered with over 20,000 volunteers, donors, and supportive community members across 14 cities to expand access to safe, stable housing.

“We are proud of the homes we've built and the families we've served. This year, in recognition of 40 years, we are celebrating this momentum and the responsibility we share to continue meeting the evolving housing needs of our community.”

With the continued support of our volunteers, donors, and partners, we are actively preparing for the next chapter of affordable housing solutions in Ventura County. This includes an exciting new development planned in Ojai, anticipated to break ground in summer 2026, furthering our commitment to create innovative, community-centered housing opportunities.

Throughout our anniversary year, we’ll celebrate the people and partnerships that have made this work possible, while continuing to build forward. We invite you to join us at one of the many events honoring Habitat for Humanity Ventura County’s 40-year legacy.

Thank you for your partnership over these last 40 years and for helping shape what comes next.
